Role Summary:
The Data Integration Engineer is responsible for implementing technical solutions for a data-centric architecture solution. 
Key Responsibilities:
The Data Integration Engineering is involved in multiple phases of the software development life cycle. The core responsibilities of the engineer include:
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily scrum, and sprint retrospective
- Help in the elicitation, definition and documentation of functional and technical requirements
- Contribute to the solution architecture of the software system via technology injection, recommendation, and rapid prototype development
- Communication of the architecture description and design documents to the project team and stakeholders
- Develop solutions implementation that aligns with design documents, design patterns, the architecture description specification, and IA standards/guidelines
- Configuration management and life cycle management of architecture and deployment artifacts
- Execute and document deployment plans; After verification coordinate deployment hand over with the Operations team
Required Experience and Expertise:
- Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field
-Experience monitoring and troubleshooting complex web applications that collect, store and retrieve data (minimum 7 years)
-Deep knowledge of Linux System Administration including shell scripting, access control, user/certificate management, and management of compute and storage resources (minimum 7 years)
-Experience maintaining software solutions in a cloud environment (minimum 1 year)
-Experience working with standard and custom XML formats (minimum 3 years)
-Possess the ability to learn and master custom technical solutions
-Possess excellent communication skills to participate in TEMs, synthesize technical scenarios to non-technical audiences, and provide executive level operational status reports
-Possess effective teamwork and leadership skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience with at least one of the following relational database management systems: PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle DB, MySQL, MariaDB
- Minimum 3 years of experience with identity management, authentication and authorization protocols including at least one of the following: certificate-based private key infrastructure, Kerberos, or OpenID Connect and OAuth2.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with fundamentals of Linux architecture and usage
- Minimum 2 years of experience designing solutions on Cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Engine, Kubernetes and/or OpenStack
- Active DoD TS/SCI 
Additional Experience and Expertise:
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field
-AWS Solutions Architect Certification or AWS Certified Solutions Developer
-Knowledge of Ruby or Java programming languages
-Knowledge of XSLT, XPATH, and XQuery
-Knowledge of YAML
- Security+, CASP CE, CISSP or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- CCNA or Network+ or equivalent
- RHCE, RHSA, Linux+ or equivalent
