  • Must be familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Contracting Officer Representative responsibilities.
  • Will be responsible for developing statements of work, work breakdown structures, independent cost estimates, source selection criteria, and technical evaluations of contractor proposals.
  • Will be expected to review integrated master schedules and cost performance reports for accuracy and completeness; will be expected to review other deliverables and provide comments that will advance project execution.
  • Will interact with USG personnel, other contractors, and in country representatives to include foreign governments.
  • Will be required to travel OCONUS ~25% to support project execution (i.e., develop requirements, monitor/inspect work completed, and coordinate with in-country representatives); travel typically lasts 1 week, but, on occasion, may extend to 2 weeks in duration.
  • Will be expected to coordinate logistics requirements for travel.
  • Will support tasks such as requirements analysis, cost vs. performance trade-off analysis, feasibility analysis, regulatory compliance support, testing and evaluation, and quality assurance.
  • Will coordinate with subject matter experts to support requirements development and review, design reviews, cradle to grave project management, training, maintenance, and sustainment.
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent and 10+ years of related experience. (OR M.S. with 7 years experience OR B.S. or B.A. with 8 years experience and 3 years CTR experience)
Desired skills: Proficiency with Microsoft software; project management, especially in the fields of border or maritime security.  Experience with chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear materials detection, surveillance, and response systems.
