Are you passionate about data visualization, interactive maps, digital storytelling, JavaScript, and creating well-designed front-end products? Are you looking to utilize and advance your skills in modern front-end development to create stunning analytical stories and visualizations as part of a mixed-media team? We’re looking for you, a front-end developer who will use technical skill and vision to build products that organize and illustrate data and geospatial analysis. This is an opportunity to meet challenges in the intelligence community (IC) by collaborating with a development team to build interactive graphics that matter. You will work with UI/UX designers and developers to apply design thinking principles to iterate ideas, produce prototypes, and refine final code. You will work with the development team to ensure a common experience for all users by developing products that function across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements. We are an interdisciplinary team with backgrounds in design, computer science, geography, data science, and many others working in a high-visibility setting in the IC. With mentoring, code reviews, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers. You Have:  
-3+ years of experience with the modern Web technology stack  
-Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3  
-Experience in creating multimedia products with JavaScript  
-Experience with responsive design   
-Knowledge of a JavaScript framework, including Angular, React, or Vue  
-Active Top Secret clearance  
-BA or BS degree  
  
Nice if You Have:  
-Experience with Angular 7, Angular CLI, ES6, TypeScript, and SASS  
-Experience creating compelling data visualizations using D3.js  
-Knowledge of Leaflet.js or other geospatial libraries  
-Knowledge of CSS3 animations  
-Knowledge of data binding patterns and state management  
-Knowledge of NodeJS and ability to create scripts to parse data  
-Knowledge of Git
-Ability to pay strict attention to detail
-Ability to adapt within an unpredictable production environment  
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
